Spelling Skills_Single Words_'pretty'_Visual Poster T
A craft-based activity to learn and remember 'pretty'

I teach this technique to children aged 6 through to adults.  This thorough technique uses an art and craft activity to strengthen visual memory for the difficult spelling, 'pretty'.  The tactile approach makes the letters more physical, enhancing kinaesthetic feedback while learning.  The student is encouraged to focus on the challenging parts of this spelling, which adds to the success of this technique.

An enjoyable technique to learn and remember 'pretty'

I teach this technique to children aged 6 through to adults.  The effectiveness of this technique rests in the creative, personal response it encourages to the meaning of the word 'pretty'.  This technique can be used alone; also it is a good supplement to Visual Poster (below).
