A craft-based activity to learn and remember 'pretty'

This technique is suitable for children aged 6 through to adults.  This thorough technique uses an art and craft activity to strengthen visual memory for the difficult spelling, 'pretty'.  The tactile approach makes the letters more physical, enhancing kinaesthetic feedback while learning.  You are encouraged to focus on the challenging parts of this spelling, which adds to the success of this technique.
This Lesson is specific to the English language, but you can use the Visual Poster technique, which is listed separately under Spelling Techniques, to help dyslexics and dyspraxics to learn and remember spellings in any language.
