An engaging technique to learn, or revise, the sounds of the five vowel letters
This technique is suitable for children aged 4 through to adults. A thorough, confident knowledge of the vowel sounds is essential to good reading and spelling. This technique is an an art and craft activity. It encourages an imaginative and personal response to learning these five crucial letter sounds. Use this technique wherever there is even slight doubt over the sounds of the letters A, E, I, O, U. This technique is a precursor to Levels Two, Three and Four Vowels Sounds Lessons which develop primary spelling skills. This technique is specific to the English language, or where special letters like the five vowels A, E, I, O, U, are being learnt.
