Spelling Skills_Preliminaries_Alphabet_Sounds Poster T
Using art and craft to learn letter sounds - then playing one or both games below

I teach this colourful and creative technique to children aged 4 through to adults.  It can be used to learn letter sounds either in alphabetical order or by working just on problem letters.

Spelling Skills_Preliminaries_Alphabet_Wand Game G
A fun activity for all ages to revise letter names and sounds

I teach this lively game to children aged 4 through to adults.  The Wand Game is used to revise the sounds or the names of alphabet letters, especially after making a Sounds Poster (above).

Spelling Skills_Preliminaries_Alphabet_Jumping Game G
A more physical game to revise letter names and sounds

I teach this game to children aged 4 through to teenagers.  The Jumping Game
is a very physical and more active version of the Wand Game (above), using the whole body not just the arms.
