Reading Skills_Reading Confidence_Dictate and Read T
A technique which helps to build self-confidence

I teach Dictate and Read to children aged 4 through to adults.  This technique draws on the dyslexic or dyspraxic's verbal and imaginative talents.  It is an effective and enjoyable way to stimulate interest in reading and to build self-confidence.

Reading Skills_Reading Confidence_Rehearsal Cards T
How to prepare for the text before starting to read

I teach this technique to children aged 4 through to adults.  It is a valuable way to support a dyslexic or dyspraxic student in the classroom as well as at home.  Rehearsal cards are fun to make, and develop skills in recognising words just by glancing at them.
